Ep. 26 – So Make It A Good One (with Jill Covitz & Luke Cook)

Jill Covitz and Luke Cook are entrepreneurial business partners who both got their start in working in the media and events apart – before coming together to create Funlocka. When faced with the challenge of the year that has been 2020, this dynamic duo came together to evolve themselves and their business. We’re a huge fan of their purpose; providing solutions for happiness and wellbeing.

Our guests this episode look to INSPIRE, EXCITE & REWARD the people that matter to them and to their clients most.

We loved chatting with Luke and Jill to understand why they created Cuppa of Life a virtual cafe designed to kick start your day with a dose of positivity from experts and personalities who have been invited to inspire, motivate and entertain. This free-of-charge service raises money for charity and has led to the creation of a dedicated community who log in every morning for a boost to their mental health and wellbeing.

Listen in to hear all about the yin and yang partnership of our guests who respect and accept each other’s strengths. You’ll find out how an alignment of purpose and values coupled with the pursuit of happiness has led Jill and Luke through innovation and into growth.

In Keep Calm And with Byron Preston we chat with an event professional and Journey Undiscovered podcaster about mental health in the events industry. We’re grateful to Byron for being vulnerable in sharing his experience, his challenges and what he does to ensure he can be at his best.
